Sylvia Hansen works as a research associate at ceres. She is involved in coordinating the projects NRW80+ and D80+. After her bachelor and master studies in the area of health sciences she worked as a research associate at the University of Stuttgart where she was mostly involved in international projects aiming at the prevention of diabetes mellitus and the promotion of physical activity. At the Federal Centre for Health Education she worked at the Office for National Education and Communication on Diabetes Mellitus. Her research interests include the development and evaluation of behavior change interventions as well as research into personal and environmental factors determining health-enhancing behavior and quality of life.
