Florian Wieczorek studied Philosophy and Political Science at the University of Konstanz (B.A.). He completed his studies with a master’s degree from the University of Hamburg in Politics, Economics and Philosophy (M.Sc.). After two years of teaching as part of the Teach First Deutschland fellow program he started working on his ongoing dissertation on the justification of social order. Since September 2017 he is working as research associate and project coordinator for the research project NoWa (“Normen im demographischen Wandel”) at ceres. His research interests concern questions of justification in theories of public reason, political realism, and norms research.
